What this service can’t do.

Retail Reason can be wrong. Check the evidence, assumptions, and important decisions before acting, including calculations and documents produced from your files.

Sam’s Club has dedicated supplier coverage, but it is currently less broad and has been tested against fewer representative questions than Walmart coverage. Do not assume equal breadth or the same validation depth.

Retail Reason does not connect to Walmart, Sam’s Club, Marketplace, Walmart Connect, or ProSpec accounts; retrieve portal data; inspect a live dashboard; or take an action in a retailer system. It works from maintained guidance and the context or files you choose to provide. Campaign changes, record updates, submissions, and approvals remain your responsibility.

Website chat can analyze authorized files and prepare requested reports, spreadsheets, and trackers. It accepts PDF, DOCX, CSV, XLSX, PNG, and JPEG, with up to five uploaded files per conversation, 10 MB per file, and 40 MB of attached files per request. Office files also have a 16 MB limit when unpacked. Encrypted files, macros, and external data connections are not supported.

Website chat also has processing and request-rate limits that can decline or pause new chat work. These chat-specific limits do not apply to MCP connectors or plugins. Shared account access, workspace, billing, security, and misuse controls still apply across the service.

Unreadable content, missing records, or unsupported formulas can prevent a complete analysis. Generated results do not replace checking the source. Upload only information you are authorized to use in the selected workspace, and review the privacy and retention details.

Coverage is limited to the supported operating areas, including Walmart Connect advertising and ProSpec specifications. Your selected workspace determines available guidance: Walmart Connect serves supplier and Marketplace contexts, while ProSpec is supplier work. Retail Reason does not grant retailer access or permissions, approve specifications, or certify compliance. It is not general retail coverage or legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

Retailer systems and policies change. Review the source dates and qualifications provided with guidance, and confirm time-sensitive figures and instructions in the applicable portal before you quote or act on them. Analysis of an uploaded export reflects the records and period in that file, not the current state of the retailer account.

Website chat requires no separate Claude or ChatGPT subscription. The following requirements concern the optional ChatGPT connection. ChatGPT requires custom-app access. The connection was tested on Pro. That test does not establish availability on every ChatGPT plan or managed workspace. Check the custom-app controls available to your account; workspace administrators may restrict them. See current connection details.

When the available evidence is insufficient or a request crosses a safety or extraction boundary, the service may narrow the answer, ask for more context, or refuse.
