THE FULL PRICE BOOK

Choose the plan for your business or client work.

Before you buy: Retail Reason connects through a supported AI client that you obtain separately: Claude hosted, Claude Code, or Codex CLI. Client availability, provider account requirements, and provider charges are not included with Retail Reason. Selecting a fixed-plan action opens secure account sign-in; inside your Retail Reason account, you choose and confirm the plan, billing cadence, exact charge, and refund terms before payment. See how to connect.

CLIENT WORKSPACES

A client workspace is one distinct customer organization whose Walmart supplier, Sam’s Club supplier, or Walmart Marketplace work your firm supports. Advisor owner/admin users can work across their allowed workspaces. Advisor has no client guests. Practice and Network may invite client guests; each guest consumes a named-user slot and can access exactly one workspace.

ANNUAL SERVICE

Annual service is one upfront charge for 12 months, priced at 11 monthly charges. Each annual figure is exactly 11 times its monthly figure; Organization and Advisor Network remain “from” prices because their scope is assisted. Annual service renews annually only after the required reminder safeguard, unless canceled before renewal.

USERS AND USAGE

One person consumes one named-user slot per account, and a pending invitation reserves its slot. Ordinary day-to-day use includes asking operating questions, checking a plan or draft, and asking follow-up questions for the people and workspaces in the plan. Usage is pooled across the account and displayed only as Normal, High usage, Under review; there are no public question counts, automatic overages, or automatic cost-based pauses.

AFTER YOU BUY

What happens after purchase.

STEP 1

Start in your account

Fixed Operator, Operator Team, Advisor, and Advisor Practice plans begin with secure account sign-in. In the account, choose the plan and monthly or annual billing, review the exact charge, accept the current terms, and continue to payment. Organization, Advisor Network, and larger/custom scope begin with the assisted inquiry shown in the price book.

STEP 2

Your organization

Your organization and its named users are set up from your purchase, and your welcome page walks you through connecting.

STEP 3

Connect

Follow the connect guide for your assistant, then verify the connection with a first question. Setup is a short sequence of guided steps.

STEP 4

Manage

Billing, plan changes, and cancellation are self-serve in your account. Cancel renewal online at any time; your plan runs to the end of the period already paid.

IF ANYTHING BLOCKS YOU

Support is direct: [email protected]. Matt aims to reply within one business day when working; an away message gives the return date. Include your account name and roughly when the problem happened; never include an access key.

TRIALS

No trial is currently offered. Purchase a plan to begin; the first-purchase refund policy still applies.

THE COMPARISON

What this sits between.

Retail Reason occupies the gap between a general AI subscription and a retained advisory firm: closer in price to the first, closer in accountability to the second.

A general AI subscription

A general-purpose assistant does not by itself provide Retail Reason’s maintained, versioned Walmart reference corpus, verification dates, or confidence classes. Keep it; Retail Reason is what it connects to, not what it replaces.

Retail Reason

A maintained knowledge service. Every answer carries a verification date and confidence class. Matt monitors relevant official documentation and release notes, re-checks higher-volatility facts before relying on them, and calls out stale or time-sensitive details.

A retained advisory firm

Judgment, negotiation, and presence in the room, which software does not replace. Advisory scope, staffing, minimum terms, and prices vary by firm and engagement; compare a current written proposal against the Service scope shown here.

If you already retain an advisor, this is the layer that answers the quick questions before they reach their inbox.

THE TERMS, IN PLAIN ENGLISH

The terms in plain English.

No surprise bills

No surprise bills: no automatic overages and no silent quality downgrade. The account shows Normal, High usage, or Under review. Reaching Under review starts a human review; it does not trigger an automatic cost-based pause.

Your paid scope

Your price and paid licensed scope stay fixed for the paid term. Legal changes and urgent security changes follow Section 19 of the Terms. Before an upgrade can make an immediate prorated charge, the account shows an exact short-lived quote for separate confirmation. Downgrades take effect at renewal and require the owner to identify the users and workspaces that will be deactivated.

Renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Monthly service renews monthly. Annual service is one upfront charge for twelve months, priced at exactly 11 monthly charges, and renews annually only after the required 30-to-60-day reminder safeguard. Cancel online before renewal; access runs to the paid term’s end. A failed renewal receives at least 7 24-hour periods of grace. The first successfully settled paid purchase, monthly or annual, is refundable if Retail Reason receives the owner’s request no later than 168 hours after canonical settlement; the exact deadline instant qualifies. Access remains active while the refund is pending or unsuccessful, and ends when the payment provider confirms a full successful refund.

Launch territory

Purchase requires a buyer entity formed and principally located, and a billing address physically located, in one of the 50 states of the United States or the District of Columbia. Named users may access and use the Service only while physically located there. United States territories and possessions, freely associated states, and military or diplomatic postal regions such as AA, AE, and AP are outside the launch territory.

FOUNDER FAQ

Founder FAQ.

Q·01

Do I have to talk to someone to buy?

Operator, Operator Team, Advisor, and Advisor Practice are purchased directly after you create an account. Organization, Advisor Network, and custom scope are assisted so their exact terms can be recorded. Any conversation is with me, not a sales team.

Q·02

Why is this priced like software and not like a retainer?

Because it does a software-shaped job: the recurring reference and diagnostic layer of supported supplier and Marketplace questions. A retained advisor earns their rate on judgment, negotiation, and leading the client through it; this carries the layer underneath that work. Price the layer like the layer.

Q·03

What does the subscription actually cover?

Normal interactive use of all currently supported guidance, pooled across the account, for the named users and workspaces in your plan. That includes operating questions, plan and draft checks, and relevant follow-up questions during the workday. You are not buying a bucket of questions. Individual extraction controls remain separate from the three public account states.

Q·04

What happens if the account shows High usage or Under review?

High usage is an early warning. Under review means Matt reviews the pattern and contacts the owner; there is no automatic overage and no automatic cost-based pause. Security, misuse, legal, and nonpayment controls may still suspend access under the terms.

Q·05

Will early subscribers get a better price?

No. Plans launch at list price. Any non-standard discount is time-bounded, recorded in the accepted offer, and never becomes a separate public price.

Q·06

Is the Advisor plan per client?

No. Advisor plans license your firm: up to 3 client workspaces on Advisor, 10 on Advisor Practice, and 20 on Advisor Network. A client workspace is one distinct customer organization whose Walmart supplier, Sam’s Club supplier, or Walmart Marketplace work you support. Practice and Network may invite client guests; each guest uses a named-user slot and sees exactly one workspace. The rest is on the brokers and agencies page.

Q·07

What happens if you’re unavailable, or you stop?

The service answers on its own; I am not between your question and its answer. What depends on me is maintenance, visible in the answer dates and current verification index. A planned permanent closure carries 60 days’ notice and a refund of unused prepaid service (Terms, section 15). Account and workspace configuration remains recoverable for 30 days after access ends.

Q·08

Where does my data actually go?

Your selected AI client independently processes the conversation and returned Output under its own terms. Its tool request goes through Retail Reason on Cloudflare to the configured OpenAI API model. Retail Reason keeps no raw prompt or answer in its D1 query log and does not train its own models on your content. OpenAI’s separate explicit static-prefix cache and abuse-monitoring periods are explained in the Privacy Policy. No portal connection, no account access; nothing is read from your systems.

A QUESTION FIRST?

Fixed plans are self-serve. Larger scope comes to me.
