Notes to this tool
1 The rule: Walmart follows the NRF 4-5-4 retail calendar. The fiscal year ends on a Friday within a few days of January 31 (usually the nearest one); weeks run Saturday to Friday; week 1 starts the following Saturday.
2 WMYYWW notation: WM27W14 = fiscal year 2027, week 14. Scintilla’s numeric week code (YYYYWW) numbers the year by its starting calendar year instead, so the same week is 202614 there; the two systems label the same week differently, and a week code only lines up across them once it’s tied to a calendar date.
3 Some fiscal years have 53 weeks. For anything money-adjacent, confirm against the fiscal-year calendar published in Walmart’s own systems.
