Notes to this tool
1 The calculation uses a week year ending on January’s last Friday, followed by a Saturday start for the next year. That puts FY25’s first week on January 27, 2024 and its extra week in January 2025. How Walmart weeks work covers the naming and the 53-week years.
2 WMYYWW notation: WM27W14 = fiscal year 2027, week 14. Scintilla’s numeric week code (YYYYWW) numbers the year by its starting calendar year instead, so the same week is 202614 there; the two systems label the same week differently, and a week code only lines up across them once it’s tied to a calendar date.
3 Future dates are calculated from this rule. Confirm the retailer’s published dates before using them for invoicing, forecasts, or scheduled work.
