Supplier One vs Retail Link: which Walmart portal owns what?

What moved to Supplier One, what still lives in Retail Link, and where Walmart posts the dated moves while the migration is still in progress.

Supplier One (supplierone.wal-mart.com) owns day-to-day work for US first-party suppliers as of September 2026: items, PO visibility, ship points, deductions, payments, and performance. Retail Link stays the identity and account layer and still houses EBS, the replenishment Vendor Scorecard, APIS, APDP, NOVA, and the supplier tool directory.

Supplier One owns the day-to-day operational work of a US first-party Walmart supplier: item setup and catalog maintenance, purchase-order visibility plus a growing set of PO actions, ship point management, deduction and payment visibility, and performance views that are still expanding. Retail Link remains the account and identity layer. It still hosts user profiles and MFA through EBS, the replenishment Vendor Scorecard, the accounts-payable tools (APIS for inquiry, APDP for disputes), and the directory of every other supplier tool. The boundary between the two has moved every year since 2024 and is still moving, so any answer to this question needs a date on it. This one is current as of September 2026.

What did Supplier One actually consolidate?

Supplier One is the portal Walmart has directed all US first-party Goods-For-Resale suppliers to use since February 22, 2024, and it absorbed several older systems rather than starting from scratch. If your task involves items, seeing your purchase orders, or seeing what you were paid, it lives here now. Order edits are the exception: domestic Owned PO changes and DSV PO creation still run through NOVA in Retail Link.

The consolidation happened in dated steps, which explains why older write-ups point you to portals that no longer exist. Supplier Center, the old drop-ship-vendor portal, was retired in February 2024. Item 360 began auto-redirecting to Supplier One on September 18, 2024, making Supplier One the home for US supplier item and inventory workflows; Walmart Canada suppliers and category advisors kept Item 360 at the time. Aspen became the Ship Point Management module at the end of October 2024, a move that SPS Commerce’s February 2025 walkthrough also recorded. Through 2025 and 2026, data formerly viewed in the HighRadius portal began surfacing in Supplier One’s Deductions section (the viewing moved; paying and disputing AR invoices did not), along with a disputes dashboard, domestic PO creation by spreadsheet upload from October 2025, and a Team Management surface under Account, so a site admin can add and remove users from inside the portal. The latest dated move is inspection bookings for US domestic-import Walmart-brand general merchandise and fashion product: Inspectorio to Supplier One’s Inspection Management, with an August 31, 2026 deadline and Supplier-One-only bookings from September 1.

One practical note: the portal lives at supplierone.wal-mart.com, on the same hyphenated wal-mart.com domain as Retail Link login; SPS Commerce’s getting-started guide gives the same address and the same single sign-on rule. The unhyphenated spelling that circulates in some third-party write-ups does not reach it.

Retail Link is still the identity layer and still hosts real work: EBS (user profiles, identity, MFA), the replenishment Vendor Scorecard, APIS for accounts-payable inquiry, APDP for AP dispute management, NOVA for the PO work Supplier One has not absorbed yet (domestic Owned PO edits, DSV PO creation), and the searchable directory of every supplier tool. Your Supplier One login is your Retail Link credential; there is no separate account, and a new supplier’s account starts at the Retail Link login, which is where Walmart’s supplier development page sends them first.

That last point is the cleanest way to understand the relationship: Supplier One did not replace Retail Link, it sits on top of it. Payment questions show the split well. Supplier One’s Payment History shows you the checks; APIS, inside Retail Link, is where you go to understand them: remittance detail, claims history, invoice-level answers. Similarly, Supplier One’s deductions pages now show you the breakdown, but paying a Walmart accounts-receivable invoice still happens in HighRadius. When a function moves, it sometimes moves as a view first, with the underlying transaction system staying where it was; Disputes and the HighRadius data are the current examples. A third door, the supplier APIs, is documented on Walmart’s developer portal for 1P suppliers, which Supplier One’s Apps and integrations page links out to.

One retirement Walmart routed sideways: DSS, Retail Link’s decades-old reporting tool, was decommissioned in 2024 on an announced March 1 cutoff followed by a wind-down, but its replacement is Scintilla (formerly Luminate), which runs on its own portal outside Retail Link, not Supplier One. Sales and shopper data questions belong to a third system entirely.

Walmart has announced no retirement for Retail Link, and identity, MFA, and user records still run through it. But Supplier One keeps absorbing Retail Link apps one at a time (including Item 360 and Aspen), while Supplier Facility Hub, the Retail Link app for facility disclosure and Factory IDs, is still listed as coming to Supplier One. Supplier One is also adding surfaces such as Team Management over Retail Link functions, so treat what’s left in Retail Link as a shrinking list underneath Supplier One, not a fixed one.

The respectful reading of Walmart’s approach is that it migrates workflows when the new home is ready and puts a date on the big moves: Item 360 got a dated cutover on September 18, 2024, and Inspectorio bookings got an August 31, 2026 transition deadline with Supplier-One-only bookings from September 1. The cost of this approach lands on suppliers as ambiguity in the middle. For any given task, the answer to “which portal?” depends on which migrations have completed for your account type.

How do I work out which portal owns a task today?

Start in Supplier One’s left navigation; if the module is there for your account, start there, knowing that a few modules are windows onto a system that still lives elsewhere (Disputes opens onto APDP for the working of a dispute; Payment history shows the check, and the remittance detail behind it is in APIS). If it is absent, the Markets/Banners pill and your supplier type explain most gaps, and Retail Link’s tool directory holds what Supplier One has not absorbed yet.

A missing entry usually means your supplier type or banner does not include that module, not that Walmart lacks the feature. A Sam’s Club supplier gets a much thinner Supplier One than a Walmart US supplier does, essentially the item and inventory work and little else as of July 2026, and a drop-ship vendor sees DSV-only cards and order actions an Owned supplier never does. Walmart posts feature news and the dated migration deadlines on the announcements carousel on the Supplier One homepage and in the interstitial notice that opens on first visit to an affected section.

Where do I fix an item attribute, and where do I pull a scorecard?

The attribute fix goes to Supplier One, full stop; the scorecard question forks depending on which scorecard your merchant means. Here is the trace for both.

Say a buyer emails that a case-pack quantity is wrong on a published item, and asks you to bring your scorecard to the next line review. The attribute correction is item maintenance, and US supplier item workflows have lived in Supplier One since September 18, 2024; even a bookmarked Item 360 link redirects there. You go to Items and Inventory, find the item in the Catalog, correct the attribute through the maintenance workflow, and track the change through the Submissions Manager until it publishes. The scorecard is the fork. Supplier One’s Performance section now carries its own scorecard views, SQEP and OTIF among them, with OTIF trends and charges as separate pages, while the replenishment Vendor Scorecard, the one with in-stock and sales metrics, remains a Retail Link app. “Scorecard” now names two things in two portals, so which one the buyer means decides the pull: supply-chain performance from Supplier One, the replenishment scorecard from Retail Link. Two portals feed one meeting; that split is Walmart’s.

What are the limits of this answer?

The portal split above reflects Supplier One as of July 2026 and was last verified September 6, 2026, and some of it will be wrong within a few quarters. The September 1, 2026 Inspectorio cutover is stated as the announced schedule, and whether Create Disputes now completes a dispute inside Supplier One or still hands off to APDP is the kind of detail that changes between checks.
