Ask operating questions, check plans, investigate records, and prepare useful files with Retail Reason’s maintained retail guidance.
In Retail Reason chat, describe the work in plain English. Name the retailer, supplier or Marketplace context, relevant dates, and the decision you need to make. Select the right workspace before adding client information.
Answer an operating question. Ask about Walmart supplier operations, Sam’s Club, Walmart Marketplace, Supplier One, or Scintilla. For Scintilla, include Basic or Charter when you know the tier. Retail Reason uses the context you supply to identify applicable guidance and checks.
Investigate your records. Upload a supported export, worksheet, document, or screenshot. Ask for a reconciliation, a comparison, or an explanation of a change. Name the periods, units, filters, and expected result. Retail Reason can analyze selected files; it does not retrieve a live dataset from your systems.
Review Walmart Connect advertising. Include the supplier or Marketplace seller context, campaign type, reporting period, and attribution assumptions. Ask for help with campaign setup, advertising metrics, budgets, bidding, or reporting. With uploaded campaign exports, ask it to separate measured findings from possible causes and keep advertising results distinct from total retail sales.
Work through ProSpec specifications. In a workspace authorized for Walmart supplier work, describe the product category, specification stage, and source records. Ask about specifications, Product Records, pack copy and artwork, quality records, or assigned work. It can help find missing information and prepare a review tracker. It does not approve specifications or make changes in ProSpec.
Check a plan or draft. Bring a proposed analysis, recommendation, item setup, or client plan. State what has already been checked and what remains uncertain. Retail Reason looks for relevant pitfalls, missing evidence, and caveats before you act.
Prepare a deliverable. Ask explicitly for a workbook, action tracker, brief, or chart and name the format you need: XLSX, CSV, DOCX, PDF, or PNG. Generated files receive a separate automated review before delivery. Download the result and check its figures, assumptions, and recommendations before using or sharing it.
Handle quick reference work. Ask for a Walmart calendar conversion or term explanation. You can also use the public Walmart week converter and comp week finder.

Guidance includes its verification context. Connected guidance answers return an as-of date and confidence class; chat includes guidance dates in its source information when available. A refusal or request for more context is an expected result when the evidence is insufficient. Verify important decisions in the applicable official systems and agreements.
