Notes to this tool
1 This tool compares W14 with the previous year’s W14, for example. A Scintilla LY metric can use a different match: its usual 364-day offset and adjustment after a 53-week year need the report’s comparison basis. Use the named date ranges here to check the alignment before interpreting a change in sales.
2 FY25 ran 53 weeks; FY24 ran 52. For FY26 W01, the same number is FY25 W01 (January 27, 2024), while 364 days before FY26 W01 lands on FY25 W02 (February 3, 2024). Week 53 has no same-numbered match when the preceding year has only 52 weeks. Future ranges follow the last-Friday-in-January rule; confirm the retailer’s current calendar for decisions tied to money or deadlines.
3 Holidays checked: New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, July 4, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. All computed arithmetically in your browser.
